Zuma’s amazing foster gave us this info on him:

Zuma is potty trained, but we do not let him use the doggy door because he is prone to escape.   He is very scared right now but once he is on the leash and is outside he will do number 1 and 2 fast and is ready to go back inside. Once he has the confidence and love for you hopefully he would be great for the doggy door because he would not try to escape. He will also advise you that he needs to go outside because he starts trying to get your attention. He is crate trained to sleep at night as long as you are near him because he gets attached to the person he trusts, and if not around he will start to cry. The way to earn  his confidence is with love and pets. He really likes to lay around you and just chill and once you get his confidence he will try and follow you everywhere you go. He is good with other pets. The main thing is he is really scared at first and he has to be on a leash or carried out of the car because he will try to escape when you try and pick him up. At times he also likes trying to bite random things on the floor.
