Meet Pepper, a beautiful 6-year-old Mini American Shepherd with a gentle heart and so much love left to give.
American Shepherds are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and loving nature. They form strong bonds with their families, thrive on companionship, and are happiest when they’re included in everyday life. Whether it’s joining you for a walk, relaxing at home, or simply staying close by, she will make a devoted companion.
Because of her heartworm treatment, Pepper will need to be adopted in the Tulsa or Oklahoma City area so she can continue receiving care through one of our veterinary partners. The good news is that her prognosis is excellent, and we expect her to make a full recovery.
Don’t let heartworm treatment keep you from meeting your perfect companion. Oklahoma Westie Rescue will guide you through the process, and before long, Pepper will be ready to enjoy all the adventures life has to offer.
If you’ve been looking for a loyal best friend with a heart as beautiful as her soulful eyes, Pepper could be the one.
