Alpine is an adorable black and tan longhaired dachshund with a few Merle markings who is 8 years old and weighs 12.5 lbs. He’s a very friendly and adorable doxie who just wants to love you. Alpine loves to go for walks and does great on a leash, plus he is also well-behaved on car rides. His favorite thing is just being near his human.
Alpine loves to sit on your lap or beside you and will happily follow you around the house. He is housetrained and enjoys going outside to run around periodically. He’s a very good boy!
Alpine loves to play with dog toys, Nyla bones, and tennis balls. He enjoys fetching the tennis ball but may not always bring it back to you! lol.
He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and gets along great with other dogs. Alpine does not care for young children so his perfect home would be one with adults or adults with children over 12.
Alpine is very treat motivated and quick to learn. Dachshunds will usually form a tight bond with one person in the family, although they like others as well.
He is very spry and playful for his age and he’s a joy to hold in your lap as his fur is silky and soft. If you love doxies, this little guy is a perfect pet!
