Thunder Girl is a sweet, 11 pound, 10 month-old Shih Tzu. She is black and white like her sister Cheerleader. Since she is almost a year old, she won't get much bigger. Thunder is a typical active puppy who needs lots of play and exercise. Things to chew on such as Nyla bones, tug of war ropes and hard rubber chew toys will help satisfy her teething urge. Until she is over the age of one, she is susceptible to Parvo virus so she needs to stay away from dog parks, doggy daycare and other places where there are groups of dogs. Thunder is microchipped and has had all necessary vaccinations. She is currently working on house training and sleeps quietly in a crate or playpen with her sister at night. They love each other's company but do not have to be adopted together. Thunder is a bit shy. She would do best in a home where someone is there most of the day to continue house training. Thunder is a hypo-allergenic breed and does not shed. She will need occasional grooming to keep her coat from getting matted.
