Evergreen is a beautiful golden blonde 2 year old Yorkie female who weighs 9-10 pounds. She was very shy and timid when she first arrived at her foster mom’s house but has be one more confident over time. She will now sit in her mom’s lap or with her foster dog siblings or other people. She’s very personable once she gets to know you.
At first, she didn’t make any noise at all or play with toys but since then she has found her voice. She only barks when the other dogs around her barks and only rarely barks on her own. She has learned to play with toys but is not possessive of them.
We know that she gets along well with other dogs close to her size and with other people but hasn’t yet been around children. We think she would be fine with them with her personality, but this has yet to be tested.
Evergreen does enjoy getting out for a walk and does great on a leash, but walks aren’t necessary for her to be content.
She does tend to revert back to shyness but warms up quickly to anyone who is sweet and loving to her.
Evergreen is working on house training and has already come a long way. She prefers to sleep with her foster mom at night but could be trained to sleep in a dog bed if needed.
This young lady does great loose in the house with her other dog companions when mom is at work and does not get anxious or destructive when mom is gone.
Evergreen is a very sweet girl who would make a loving companion.
