Dear OWR, I just want you to know that Charley (formerly Peter Piper) is the most wonderful blessing to me!! He is doing just great...

I realized how very harsh someone must have treated him because he would look so afraid and he would tinkle if I became annoyed at him and simply raise my voice...on the other hand he would tinkle when I would come home after leaving him alone for a while, just excited to see me back... So we are working on this and he is doing tons better... I have learned how to remain calm and he is coming along beautifully... He had a doggie door installed Sunday and he loves it...We call it Charleys door ha! ha!

Charley is a quick learner and he has learned to stand up for a treat, beg, lay down and roll over... He amazes me at how quickly he learns...So I am glad that he learned quickly that chewing mom's shoes is not a good idea ha! ha!...

I haven't really laughed in so very long... way before my husband passed away (he was ill for a long time)... and my Dad before that... Well Charley has brought the laughter back into my life...He is so delightful with his antics, I have been so lonely without my dear husband but Charley is really helping me out of that and the depression that has come with it... I adore this little guy, he is the best companion and I believe that I got THE BEST WESTIE THERE IS!!!
