HERCULES
(Return to Available Westies)
As you can see from his “before” picture Hercules was one sad little boy. Thanks to a combined effort of several different rescue groups we were able to pull Hercules
from the shelter and get him some vet care. Hercules is now on his way to recovering. Hercules is almost completely potty trained; he uses a doggie door! He gets along well with others (although sometimes he plays a little rough with the kitties, not on purpose!) and he is great riding in the car. The vet thinks Hercules is perhaps 9 months old. He is part shar pei and part bull terrier. He is short with bowed legs
probably because he was kept crated in a crate that was too
small. Poor guy! Hercules is not aggressive and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, he is quite the snuggle boy
and he loves getting attention. Hercules will need to continue his meds for his skin problem for about 30 days. Hercules will always need to be on good food. Hercules has been vetted and is fostered in the OKC area.
Is your heart big enough for a great boy like this? Hercules care was paid by various concerned individuals so we are only asking for a minimal adoption donation.
NOTE: This dog is
being fostered in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME. You must complete and
submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt
to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR,
MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have
children under the age of 10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma
City, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation is
$250. |
