My name is Bowie. I just turned 1 year old July 2, and I am ready for a new forever home. You see, my Mom was a Westie and my Dad was a Havanese and the breeder gave my Mom to this rescue group. That is where I was born! I went to my first real home when I was just 11 weeks old and I have been happy there. My former Mommy lost her job and house, so she couldn't take care of me anymore so I had to come back here and live. It's all good, though. I have a huge yard to play in and other doggies that are lots of fun to play with . I am potty trained, leash trained, know how to use the doggie door, and I LOVE to snuggle. On top of all this neat stuff, I'm CUTE! I am a bit
embarrassed, though. My former Mommy thought it would be cute to give me a Mohawk haircut. The folks at OWR thought I looked a bit like a wild animal with my "do" so they tried to fix the haircut. I still have an interesting hairdo, though! I have the softest fur you can imagine and I just love to snuggle! I would love to have another doggie to play with too!
I promise to be a very good boy if you will just give me the chance.

submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt
to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR,
MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have
children under the age of 10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma
City, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation for
this dog is $250. |
