Hi, my name is Trese (short for Theresa - someone named me in honor of our Co-President!) I'm a shy two year old female Scottie. I am so quiet that my foster mom sometimes forgets I'm around - of course she has those "Wild Westies" to deal with!!! I love to sit by my mom and be scratched and talked to, but if there's action someplace, I'm outta there. I get along well with other dogs and cats. prefer to sleep by myself in my kennel - have you ever tried to sleep in a bed with Westies? My foster mom is working on my shyness and potty training and says that I'm getting better every day. I've even started giving kisses. If you love Scotties and have it in your heart to work with me to overcome my shyness, then I'm your girl. 'll probably reward you with kisses too!!!
I would prefer to be the only doggie in the house as I don’t have to hide out and be scared that way. I also have one of the nicest, blackest fur coats that you will ever see! Let’s keep that quiet though so no one will want to come and steal it away from me! All the boys think I am beautiful and they love my one flopped down ear, they say it makes me even more beautiful!

being fostered in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME. You must complete and
submit an Adoption
Application and be approved to adopt prior to being able
to meet the dog. Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt
to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR,
MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have
children under the age of 10, please do not
apply for this dog.
Preference is given to homes with fenced yards. We do not
ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma
City, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your
application is approved. The requested adoption donation for
this dog is $250. |
